A sketch provides a solid foundation for a scrapbook page layout, so you can create a well-balanced design in less time—every time. With that piece of the puzzle covered, you can let your creativity soar in the areas of color, photo selection, product combinations, techniques, and journaling.
This workshop will be transferred to the new platform for Big Picture Classes. Read all about that, here.

Where it all started...
Once upon a time, I wrote two books for a fabulous company called Ella Publishing. Here is a little about that.
Stretch Your Sketches 2 picked up where the original Stretch Your Sketches left off. Both eBooks taught solid design principles that helped scrapbookers adapt any sketch to the number of photos they had, to a different size or orientation, or from a single page to a spread.
Here is an example sketch and layout below:
The original, Stretch Your Sketches.
If you take an engineer's eye for alignment, precision, order, and symmetry and add healthy doses of patterned paper, scallops, and creative freedom to the mix, what do you get? An organized, easy-to-follow, and FUN approach to layout design. My eBook demonstrated new ways to think about sketches, presented in a clear and logical way. It taught solid principles that helped scrapbookers adapt any sketch to a given number of photos, a different size (8½ x 11 or 12 x 12) or orientation (landscape or portrait), or from a single page to a spread.
My sketches could also be found in other eBooks. Such as...
